small business phone systems

Wednesday, January 13th, 2010

I currently work for a toy company. The company has been in the business for 18 years. We have over 50 outlets and one head office with 4 direct lines. There are over 40 employees working in the head office all sharing those 4 telephone lines; one of those lines is a fax phone as well. Can you imagine how difficult it is to use the phone? We have all 50 outlets trying to call us and we’re all trying to call each of them. We need to look at small business phone systems.

Small business phone systems are practical and a necessity. There are several types of business phone systems; the most popular is the PBX system. PBX stands for private branch exchange. This means you can have locals or extensions. If each of your employees are given a local line, the can call each other easily and even make outside calls. This definitely beats having to walk over to the other end of the hall. Today there is also VOIP or voice over internet protocol which makes calls using data lines instead of traditional phone lines. I would be happy if our company had PBX!

work from home moms

I help my husband augment our income even though I stay at home to take care of the kids. I harness the power of technology by using my computer to my advantage. Many work from home moms like me have discovered that you don’t have to have a day job at the office to be productive. You only need to make use of what you already have at home to earn.

For several years now, I have been getting income from online jobs that I found in the internet. I also continue to research for ways how to better increase the earnings I am already receiving. I have also learned how to spot scams and am now pretty wary of immediately signing up for anything without investigating a program or a website first thoroughly before I expend more time and effort on it.

Business opportunities for women

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

Even the most motivated person sometimes gets stuck when they start planning a business. It is not as easy as wanting to do something. Sometimes it takes years from the time the seed of idea is broached to the time of getting it set-up. There are just so many choices; there are simply too many questions to get answers to. Even when choices are made and questions are answered there will remain gray areas that will just be left to luck.

Business opportunities for women are not wanting. But even so there is a need to take the time to look deeply into them and try to answer questions like:

~What do you want or need to get out of the business?
~What do you like to do?
~What are you good at doing?
~What would you like to learn to do?

Only when they are satisfied with their answers should they continue with their project.

work from home opportunity

Monday, January 4th, 2010

I have recently been laid off from work. With four mouths to feed and a mortgage to pay for, I felt the world has just caved in over my head. I tried looking for a good job but there were none near our area. I figured, going farther out of town just to look for work might end up more costly for me or the income would just break even with my expenses.

When I was presented with a work from home opportunity, I grabbed it after weighing the pros and cons. After all, it’s a chance for me to earn and, at the same time, be with my family more. Now, I get to greet my kids as they walk in the door every afternoon after school. I have also claimed a small room for myself which I turned into a mini-office with a computer and internet connection where I conduct business in the comfort of our home.
