Customized Patches

Monday, June 27th, 2011

Uniformity begets recognition. This is the strategy of companies and organizations who let their employees and members wear custom made patches. It is one way of being recognized outside of their organization. Patches are less expensive than uniforms. They are smaller and therefore easier to customize.

There are companies whose business is to make customized patches. They can make it in any shape, color and design. They can provide the customer with a pre-set design customizing it with a logo or text. They can also work with the customer to make a design from scratch. Whichever the customer choose it will be to the benefit of his business.

Common Promotional Gifts

Thursday, June 9th, 2011

We are all suckers for anything free. Some we really appreciate; others we throw away. Companies realize this and take advantage by giving away logo promotional products. These are gifts that contain imprints of the logo of the company and other information meant to enhance awareness of a product brand or service. The rationale is that the person who gets the gift will remember the brand and maybe put the item in a place that will be seen by others. This is one way of spreading knowledge and increasing awareness.

Examples of these items are those that allow the company’s name and logo to be displayed clearly. Common company give-aways are t-shirts, baseball caps and luggage. Because these are worn or carried by people, it gets to be seen by more people. Mugs and desktop items are also commonly given away. These are products that are actually being used so other people tend to view them as well.

Corporate giveaways are a great way to advertise your company. Promotional gifts will give you lots of goodwill and name recall. Studies show that people actually keep the items they receive. Some items that are great to give are pens, key chains and calendars. They are cheap to produce and people use them all the time.

The best time to give promotional gifts is during the Christmas holidays. Some of the best name recall comes from giveaways during Christmas. Calendars, watches and key chains will be used throughout the year. If the quality of your giveaways is good, people tend to associate it with your company regardless what your company’s business. Promotional beach balls

Thursday, August 6th, 2009

We are entrenched in a global community that recognizes commercialism. With the large population and the number of competition in the market, the challenge is how to get these people to be aware of our products. It is a marketing truth that the wider the awareness base, the wider the number of people who will try the product and eventually become loyal users. This is where promotional products come into play. The test is in coming out with promotional materials that will widen the base of awareness and eventually improve sales.

The idea is to focus advertising efforts on a specific niche in the market. Who is your market? Promotional beach balls for instance will connect with customers who love the water. Water and sun creates a desire for refreshment; a tie up with a refreshing drink and beach balls create a craving for the product. Marketing people realize this; that is why they spend millions for promotions every year.

promotional products

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

Research has shown how product promotions attract more customers compared to other promotions. New customers who receive promotional products tend to return sooner, more frequently and spend more money. The reason for this is that businesses know who their potential customers are and they tend to skew their choices of promotional products toward these groups. Personalizing them with brand names, company names or logos maximize their potential for brand name and company name retention.

Decide on the products that you feel will benefit your company most. Settle on your budget. Remember that the lower you can bring your budget for each piece, the more people you will be able to reach. Remember also that this will be a reflection on your company. If you scrimp too much, it will show. That might not exactly be the image you want to project.

promotional key chains

Friday, May 29th, 2009

Collecting is very much appealing to most people especially those who’ve been bitten by the travel bug. Some collect ref magnets, ballpoints, hotel napkins, stamps, postcards, casino chips, even wines and currency. Since high school days, I’ve been an avid collector as well, I collect key chains. To date I have kept more than a hundred key chains given by friends, relatives and colleagues from their travels. A miniature kaleidoscope from Japan, a chip of the Berlin Wall from Germany, a small Buddha from Cambodia , a tiny Klompen from The Netherlands, are among my favorites.

Whether it is from another country, state, or just some promotional key chains from various companies, I add it up to my collection because each has its own uniqueness. The number is increasing since I now get to travel as well. Someday, all these key chains will be dangling in an enclosed glass frame on our main door.
